Resource Summary
Autism Alliance is a network of specialist autism charities across the UK, collaborating to share best practices and influence policy. They represent diverse local and regional organisations, working together to provide comprehensive support, advocacy, and information, strengthening the collective voice for autistic people and their families nationwide.

Autism Alliance is a unique and powerful network comprising 16 specialist autism charities working collaboratively across the UK. Its primary purpose is to unite these independent organisations, enabling them to share expertise, develop best practices, and collectively advocate for the rights and needs of autistic people. By pooling their knowledge and resources, the Alliance strengthens the voice of the autistic community at a national level, influencing policy-makers and shaping service provision. Member charities provide a wide range of local and regional support, from diagnostic services and education to employment support and residential care. Autism Alliance facilitates knowledge exchange, ensuring that innovative approaches and successful interventions are disseminated throughout the network, benefiting autistic individuals and their families across diverse geographical areas. This collaborative model ensures comprehensive and coordinated support, maximising impact and working towards a more inclusive and understanding society for all autistic people.
