A senior politician and medical doctor has publicly denounced the spread of dangerous misinformation regarding vaccine safety and autism.
The intense controversy follows the appointment of a highly controversial figure to a top health position, sparking widespread alarm across the medical community.
The new health official has spent decades promoting the entirely discredited theory that childhood vaccines directly cause autism, a claim that has been repeatedly debunked by global scientific consensus.
Outrage escalated recently when critical pages on a major government health website were deliberately altered to undermine established medical facts.
Statements clearly affirming that vaccines do not cause autism were appended with footnotes suggesting that the root causes of the condition remain uncertain.
Medical professionals and neurodiversity advocates are furious, warning that these deeply irresponsible actions validate harmful conspiracy theories and severely threaten public health.
Prominent lawmakers are demanding that the government immediately restore the website to reflect accurate scientific evidence.
Experts warn that allowing fringe theories to influence official health policy not only endangers children by reducing vaccination rates but also deeply insults the autistic community by treating their existence as a tragic medical injury.
