Ben and Sam Griffin, two young disabled brothers from Dudley Wood, have been shortlisted for the Young Person of the Year award at the Sense Awards after successfully campaigning against proposed government cuts to the benefits system.
Both boys have an autism diagnosis and had previously campaigned on issues affecting their family, including proposed changes to the special educational needs and disabilities system (SEND).
The article highlights their significant impact, noting that their efforts helped secure last-minute concessions from the government and were even shown to the Chancellor.
Their campaign work and subsequent award nomination celebrate the power of young people's voices in policy change.
